I stumbled on the link below while looking in to the history of bishops in Libya.
I have noticed the presence of christian churches all over the land in Libya.
This shows the tolerance practised by the Islamic faith, the population & authority of Libya towards the faithfuls of the christian faith.
An interesting changes and increase in visiting non local christian population right here
